A note to the reader/about

Four firms, working
as one supplier
to your practice.

I.The arrangement

Funeral Tech is the name we work under when we work for funeral directors. Behind it sit four established UK firms, each with a long record in their own discipline, who chose some years ago to collaborate exclusively for the funeral profession under a single banner.

The reason is plain. A funeral director should not have to brief four different suppliers on the same set of values, the same rhythm of work, and the same standards of discretion. One conversation, one number, one written proposal — with four sets of specialist expertise behind it. That is what Funeral Tech is.

What follows is who we actually are. None of this appears anywhere else on the site, and it does not need to: the work is the same, regardless of which firm performs each part of it. But you should know.

II.The four firms

Each, in its own discipline.

Listed in the order the services appear elsewhere on this site. Each is a separate company, with its own staff, its own offices, and its own existing clients outside the funeral trade.

III.How it works in practice

For you, nothing changes from page to page of this site. You write to us through the form on the next page, and you reach a small joint team. We respond as Funeral Tech. We send one written proposal, on one piece of headed paper. We invoice you from one place. The work behind the scenes is divided between the four firms above according to who is best placed to do each piece — but that's our problem to organise, not yours.

We have done it this way for some years. We chose to put it down in writing here, on this page, because we'd rather you know now than find out by accident later. Funeral directors deal in trust, and trust does not survive small concealments.

If you'd like to speak to any of the four firms directly — about a piece of work that sits outside the funeral trade, or to take a reference — the links above will take you to each.
